### tools to make notebooks: do you need a cutter?
Any knife would help with this. Obviously, the less sharp the knife, the less polished the cut will look like. In case, I would suggest to appreciate the rough cut: it shows the inside of the paper, it makes the notebook thicker and last but not least: if you are a perfectionist or someone who feels scared of ruining nice looking objects, this might help you to loosen yourself and feel more free to use your notebook.
