A personal struggle to accept and adapt to Dutch culture further increases his feelings of alienation and so he calls his family very often to keep himself in the ‘comfort zone’.</code></p>

<div id="bio"><p>Zhibin Qin (CN) is a visual artist based in Shanghai and Rotterdam. He has a good eye to capture the beauty and he is full of passion to explore the cinematic technology. In the past two years, he creates short narrative films, commercial video projects, vlogs, and documentaries. His works reveal his strong interest in shaping the critical and honest narrative methodology in the film. He focused on the air pollution in his hometown; He spent months on the cinematic technologies to design special effects in films; He explored the reason behind the camera fear by testing with people with different cameras in multiple scenarios. He constantly makes different types of films and he wants to shape his own cinematic language.</p>
